Straight stack.

September 1960. This is the only picture I got of a DRGW-operated K-28 with a straight stack. The 473 is the Durango switcher, note the footboards and the power reverse cylinder. Historical note.....this picture has been "retouched" to eliminate a forest of background poles and wires. My apologies to the historians, but it improves the esthetics of the picture if not the historical accuracy. I might also note this is an Ektachrome original, one of the few Ektachromes in my collection that has not faded to red, this one looks the same as when it came back from processing 50 some years ago....knock on wood.
